How to play

1. Look around. Drag the view to turn, scroll or pinch to zoom, and click the arrows on the road to walk (in the modes that allow it).
2. Open the map. On a computer it sits in the bottom-right corner and grows when you point at it; on a phone, tap it to open it.
3. Place your pin where you think you are. You can move it as often as you like before you commit.
4. Press Guess. The answer appears on the map with a line to your pin, along with the distance and your points.
5. A game has five rounds, so the best possible total is 25,000 points.

Each round is worth up to 5,000 points, and the points drop smoothly with distance. A guess about 100 km off still earns around 4,700 points, 1,000 km off earns about 2,500, and a guess on the wrong side of the world earns next to nothing.

Country mode has no distance: the right country is worth the full 5,000 points, any other country scores zero.

The modes form a ladder from relaxed to demanding. Start at the bottom and move up once your scores feel comfortable; after a strong game the summary screen suggests the next step.

• Classic: walk, look around and zoom as much as you like, then pin the exact spot. The best place to start.
• Country: you only need the country. Click it on the map. Great for learning which clues belong where.
• NMPZ: no move, no pan, no zoom. One fixed view and nothing else. For experienced players.

Every day brings the same five locations for every player in the world. You get one attempt per day: finish it to keep your streak going, and share your result as a row of colored squares that gives nothing away. A new challenge starts at midnight UTC.

Create a room and send your friends the invite link or the six-character room code. They join with one tap, no account needed. The host picks the mode, the number of rounds and the time per round. Everyone plays the same places at the same time, a live scoreboard shows who has guessed (never where), and the result map shows every player's pin.

Is [Brand] free?

Yes. It runs in your browser and costs nothing: no purchase, no subscription.

Do I need an account?

No. Your finished games and your daily streak are saved in your browser on this device.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes, in any modern mobile browser. Turning the phone sideways gives you a bigger view of the street.

Is there a time limit?

Not when you play alone. In a room with friends the host sets a timer between 30 seconds and 2 minutes; if it runs out before you guess, that round scores zero.

What does NMPZ mean?

No Move, No Pan, No Zoom. You cannot walk, turn or zoom: all you get is the view you start with, which makes every detail count.

Where do the locations come from?

Every location is an official Street View panorama chosen by our own tools. Places with poor imagery and photos uploaded by users are left out, so each round shows a real street you can actually read.

Are there ads while I play?

Never during a round. Nothing is ever placed over the street view or the map while you are guessing.
